Reunion for Graduates from class one through class 4 of the Army PA Program at the 41st annual SAPA PA Conference

At times it seems hard to believe that the PA profession is over 50 years old.  The profession started in the Army with the decision to develop a program to train 8 classes of individuals for a total of 400 physician assistants into this new profession in the Army .  Upon completion of the program, these individuals were commissioned as warrant officers and received a certificate from Creighton University. It is hard to believe that from these humble beginnings, now upon completion of the program, the graduates are awarded a Masters degree, and commissioned as a commissioned officer within the Army. Many of the PA's practicing today may have never met or spoken with any of the individuals who graduated in the first eight classes. We're going to attempt to correct some of that. We are planning to have a reunion for any of the individuals who graduated in class one through 4 at the 41st annual SAPA PA Conference in Fayetteville April 20th thru April 24th 2020.  We are also planning to have a reunion for the individuals who graduated in class 5 through class 8 at the 42nd annual SAPA PA Conference in 2021. We will be having special recognition for these individuals throughout the conference. If anyone knows of any individuals who graduated in the first four classes , please attempt to get information to them about the upcoming events at the 41st annual SAPA Conference. Thank You.
